About Isla
"Have you ever wondered how to hit those high notes without feeling like you are straining your throat? We start by looking at your current vocal health and microphone technique to build a foundation that keeps your instrument safe for years. My teaching philosophy focuses on making sure your rhythm and phrasing feel natural rather than forced or stiff.
I assign specific homework vocal drills after every session to ensure that you continue building strength and stamina between our meetings. This ensures that even the most difficult belting passages become part of your regular range. We will work on your performance confidence until you feel ready to sing anywhere."

"Working with singers for 11 years has given me a deep appreciation for the mechanics of the human voice. I hold a BM Popular Music degree that grounds my teaching in solid theory and healthy habits. My sessions cover everything from breathing control and head voice to the nuances of belting and vibrato. I enjoy guiding advanced learners through complex phrasing while helping kids build confidence from the ground up.
It is satisfying to watch a self-taught player move from guessing to knowing exactly how to handle their breath. Helping someone find their own sound is the best part of this work."
