About Phillip
I am a Vehicle Dynamics Test Engineer with a commercial vehicle manufacturer in North America. I majored in engineering mechanics, which is a degree that is similar to mechanical engineering, but witha curriculum that focuses more on theory rather than design. Some of the capstone courses that I took in college include partial differential equations, continuum mechanics, intermediate dynamics, quantum physics, and design for manufacturability.

I graduated from the University of Illinois in 2023. One thing I learned in school that didn’t relate to engineering was that in most cases, my peers or TAs would help me understand topics better than my professors. I’ve found that the more recently you learn a topic, the easier it is to know how you would’ve liked to have been taught in the first place.
I do not have a set teaching method, and prefer to create a custom plan for each student individually that caters to their needs.
