In my years of living abroad I have seen how English students have the most difficulty in the area of distinguishing and pronouncing the distinct sounds of the English language, and understanding essential rules of English pronunciation, such as word stress. English learners are often proficient when it comes to reading and writing, but are deficient when it comes to speaking. They are hindered and set back from conversational fluency due to a lack of knowledge of key principles that are frequently not explained or taught by English teachers and schools.
I attempt to remedy this by using a proven and effective method designed to improve students' pronunciation, listening and speaking skills. I use very practical and useful phonetic tools to teach the distinct sounds of English, and share with students the essential "secrets" of conversation. In my classes I do not attempt to teach students everything there is to know about the English language. Rather, I essentially provide students with a "toolbox" of the most important things they need to know in order to survive and thrive in the real world.
My lessons are designed for beginners as well as more advanced students, since students at every level usually have issues with pronunciation. A minimum of 15 hours worth of lessons is highly recommended.
