Hello! My name is Briya, and I'm a TEFL-certified English tutor with advanced Portuguese language proficiency (CELPE-Bras). I'm passionate about helping students achieve their language goals through personalized, engaging lessons in both English and Portuguese.

My goal is to help students build confidence while learning English or Portuguese in a supportive and encouraging environment. As a TEFL-certified English tutor with advanced Portuguese proficiency, I tailor each lesson to the student's goals, whether they want to improve conversation skills, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, writing, or prepare for school, work, or travel.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous material, followed by new concepts taught through interactive activities, real-life conversations, and practical examples. I adapt my teaching style to each student's learning pace and provide constructive feedback throughout each lesson. Speaking practice is a key part of every session, helping students become more fluent and comfortable using English or Portuguese in real-world situations.
