About Kieren
I am a Computer Science graduate from the University of Kent now working as a Big 4 Technology Consultant. I have experience tutoring and supporting students during my time at university, specifically on object-oriented programming and computing concepts such as networking.
I'm able to explain and explore basic-intermediate concepts, based on what you want to learn about, be it hardware, programming or even building a computer.

My personal approach to teaching and learning is to learn by doing not just by reading or hearing about a topic. I think if you can apply what you're learning in a practical sense whilst you're learning it, then there's a better chance of it sticking in your head.
For example: when it comes to programming, solving problems is the best way to develop your skills and the same applies more broadly to computing. Context is key to understanding something, at least to me!
I also know that this doesn't necessarily work for everyone and am more than happy to adjust my style to better suit the way you like to learn.
