Experienced Mathematics & Statistics Tutor – NCEA Levels 1, 2 & 3
Over 30 Years of Teaching Experience in Auckland
Are you looking for an experienced, patient and dedicated Mathematics & Statistics tutor who understands the New Zealand Curriculum (NZC) and NCEA?
I am a highly experienced teacher with over 30 years of teaching Mathematics and Statistics in Auckland schools, including both government and religious schools. Coming from a family of educators, teaching has always been an important part of my life.
I have taught students across the full range of school levels, specialising in Mathematics with Statistics, including NCEA Levels 1, 2 and 3, through to Level 3 Statistics. I also have experience teaching Accounting.
I keep up to date with the changes to the New Zealand Curriculum and NCEA, ensuring that my teaching is relevant to current requirements.

My aim is not simply to help students get the right answer. I want students to:
Build confidence in Mathematics and Statistics
Strengthen their understanding of mathematical concepts
Develop strong Numeracy skills
Learn effective strategies for solving problems
Understand what is expected in NCEA assessments
Work towards their individual academic goals
Progress from Achieved to Merit and Excellence

Flexible lesson times are available, including evenings and weekends.
