About Winnie
こんにちは! (Konnichiwa!) I'm Winnie, and I'm excited to be your Japanese tutor! I teach Japanese from beginner (JLPT N5) to intermediate (JLPT N3) levels. Whether you're starting with Japanese alphabets, basic greetings or diving into Kanji and grammar, I'm here to guide you every step of the way!
My love for the Japanese language stems from my fascination with the country's rich traditions, unique culture, and captivating art forms like manga and anime. As someone passionate about both language and culture, I aim to make each lesson engaging, fun, and tailored to your interests.

Perfect! I had a great lesson with Winnie. At first I was a bit nervous, but her calm and friendly attitude made it so much easier to relax and enjoy the class. She came well prepared with materials and a clear plan which I really appreciated. This shows that she puts effort into what she does and provides value for your money.
One thing that stood out was the inspiring story she shared about how she accomplished her goal of going to Japan. Her school had a program where only the top 3 Japanese students could go so she worked hard and earned her spot. That really motivated me to keep going with my own studies.
If you're thinking about learning Japanese I highly recommend booking a lesson with Winnie. She's knowledgeable, super supportive and easy to talk to. You’ll feel motivated and comfortable when taking lesson with her.- Thank you Cole! Cole is a great student! While learning Japanese, he is also teaching English for native Japanese. A very open-minded person with many valuable knowledge as well as good learning skills. The most fun part about having Cole as a student is the fact that we are able to talk about many different kind of knowledge and sharing various types of learning experiences!
