About Landon
My name is Landon Maas, and I have been drawing ever since I have been able to hold a pencil. Art to me is a soothing and satisfying process that I believe everyone should be able to unlock inside themselves.
Not only am I interested in drawing; specifically the comic book medium, but I love superheroes and their storytelling range through comics. I was taught how to draw by my mom and she inspired me to find a love through art, and I have brought myself to teaching with the hope that I can inspire others the same way.

About the lesson

My lessons will go over the fundamentals when it comes to creating a comic book or graphic novel cover page.
Starting with a four step technique which consists of;
- Drafting
- Penciling
- Inking
- Coloring
The class will delve into creating a truly invigorating artwork for both the creator and viewers. Working through the draft board taking story and emotion of a character, to finishing off with a professional comic book cover. The lessons are for Beginner to Intermediate level artists who are ready to create dynamic comic book artwork.
