About Shlok
I offer structured, professional tutoring designed to help students build confidence and perform strongly in their studies. As a current undergraduate student and Teaching Assistant for Business 111 at the University of Auckland, I have direct experience supporting first-year students with university-level business content. My teaching approach focuses on clarity and understanding. I break down complex concepts into clear, manageable ideas and explain them using practical, real-world examples. Lessons are interactive and tailored to each student’s learning style, ensuring they feel supported while developing independent problem-solving skills. My approach to tutoring focuses on clarity, structure, and confidence-building. As a current undergraduate student and Teaching Assistant for Business 111 at the University of Auckland, I understand both the course content and the common areas students find challenging. I teach by breaking down business concepts into simple, real-world examples, then reinforcing understanding through practice questions and discussion. Lessons are interactive rather than lecture-based, and I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s learning pace and goals. I place strong emphasis on exam techniques and assessment preparation. The typical length of my tutoring during my office hours is 1 hour. I started tutoring at the start of 2025 where I taught WTRBUS100 at the University of Auckland and in 2026 I will be tutoring BUS111. The lessons are for first-year university students.
