About Julia
I am a secondary school student, currently in year 11, with constant grade 7’s and 8’s (As and A*s) on my grade cards. I have a great interest in mathematics and equally so, I possess a huge passion for teaching, as I believe that knowledge which is not shared, is knowledge wasted. I would be honoured to provide children with expanded knowledge and understanding and to enable them to produce results to the best of their ability. And as around four and a half years ago I sat the same tests these children will be sitting, I am able to sympathise and provide them with tips which others may not be able to provide. I am also able to aid them emotionally and reassure any anxieties they may have about any of their tests or exams. I also have a GCSE certificate in Higher Tier Polish with a grade 9 (A**) which I achieved in year 9.

I am a very patient and engaging individual, who is easy to talk to, as well as kind and compassionate. In my tutor lessons you can expect to quickly make progress and within just a couple of sessions, I will likely have a developed understanding of your strengths and weaknesses, and we will work to focus and improve on the weaknesses and build on the strengths. With the use of past paper questions, and extended word problems, I will familiarise the three with exam style equations, and easy and quick ways to go around them. Your progress is always the priority and I am willing to teach you above and beyond what you need to know in order to get you the best grades possible on your SAT. Let’s not forget the fun! My lessons will not consist of long, boring explanations (because who likes that!) I will always give examples and visual aids to engage the tutee and help them grasp the subject more efficiently, and with a wider and expanded understanding.
