About Amyp
Hi, I’m Amy, a qualified accountant and newly qualified teacher. With experience both in the accounting profession and in the classroom, I offer students a strong mix of real-world knowledge and exam-focused teaching. I provide grinds in Junior Cycle Math, Junior Cycle Business Studies, Leaving Certificate Business, and Leaving Certificate Accounting. I have up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum, exam papers, and marking schemes, and I focus on helping students improve both their understanding and their results. My lessons are clear, structured, and tailored to each student. I break topics down into simple steps, use past exam questions, and focus on the areas where students typically lose marks. I also work on building confidence, as this is key to success in exams. Students often come to me feeling unsure but quickly gain confidence and improve with regular support. I am patient, approachable, and committed to helping every student reach their full potential.

Hi, I’m Amy, a qualified accountant who trained and worked in accounting before returning to qualify as a teacher, which allows me to bring real world experience into my lessons. I offer grinds in Junior Cycle Maths, Junior Cycle Business Studies, Leaving Certificate Business, and Leaving Certificate Accounting. My approach is clear, supportive, and focused on building confidence. I break topics down into simple steps and use exam-style questions, past papers, and practical examples to help students fully understand key concepts. I also focus on improving exam technique so students can achieve their best results.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s needs, whether they need help with a topic, revision, or ongoing support. I create a positive, relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. With both industry and classroom experience, I can support a wide range of learners, including those who need extra confidence or focus.
€40 per hour – Online or in-person available.
