About Amie
I am a dedicated teacher trainee and experienced Teaching Assistant with a genuine passion for helping students build confidence and reach their full potential. I have previous experience tutoring students from Primary level through to GCSE, giving me an understanding of how to adapt lessons to different ages, abilities and learning needs.
Alongside my teaching experience, I have worked as a Youth Leader, where I supported and mentored young people with their wellbeing, confidence and personal development. This has strengthened my ability to build positive relationships with students and create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
I enjoy making learning engaging and accessible, and I adapt my approach to suit each student's individual needs and goals. I am currently completing my teacher training, further developing my knowledge of effective teaching and learning, and I am excited to use my experience to help students make progress academically while becoming more confident learners.

I provide friendly, engaging and personalised lessons designed to help students build confidence, strengthen their understanding and achieve their academic goals. I adapt each lesson to the student's individual needs, using clear explanations, questioning, worked examples and exam-style practice. Lessons are typically 1 hour long and are suitable for students studying Maths and English from Primary through to GCSE level. As an experienced Teaching Assistant and current teacher trainee, I have experience supporting pupils with different abilities and learning needs, and I aim to make every lesson engaging, supportive and encouraging.
