How Hodlclass works and what you get with our lesson. Class length can vary but I try to keep them to 1 1/2 hours to 2 1/2 hours. When you sign up we will set a date to meet for a 1on1 local KC area meetup preferably by Bitcoin ATM but can be anywhere in Kansas City area or online webcam lesson. You need to have an old smartphone/old laptop or a Ledger/Trezor/KeepKey for an offline hardware wallet. First section. We will go over how to self-custody Bitcoin and the difference between offline (cold) wallets and online (hot) wallets. I will show you what wallets I recommend, we will set up an online wallet on your daily use phone, laptop, or computer. Then we will set up an offline wallet on an old phone/old laptop or Ledger/Trezor/KeepKey you have. Then if in person I will let you use my metal stamping kit to stamp your offline wallet's 12-24 seed phrase on a FIREPROOF METAL backup I will provide. Online over Zoom I can stamp seed phrase for you out of order and send you them to put in right order that way I never know your seed phrase. Can also do this in person for you. Second section. I'll show you what exchanges I recommend, how to set up accounts with them, buy and sell Bitcoin on them. I'll show you how to find Bitcoin ATMs. If in person and by a Bitcoin ATM I'll show you how to buy and sell at the Bitcoin ATM. I'll show you how to receive Bitcoin. Then I will show you how to send Bitcoin, double check and verify addresses so you never make mistakes when sending. Final section. We go over how to keep your crypto safe from scams and hackers, where and how to store your metal backup and your hardware wallet. How to keep your privacy with Bitcoin using ATMs, Monero and your offline wallet properly. We will do a quick recap and I will put you into the Hodlclass help group for any further questions you have. In person KC area or online.
