About Aathy
I am a 17 year old, who has first hand experience of the struggles of 11 plus and GCSE's. I believe I am empathetic and understanding, hence why I work well with younger children. I have studied Maths and Further maths at Manchester Grammar School for boys, which is one of the top boys schools in the UK. I too had to go through the process of 11 plus and entrance exams so I believe I have the right experience and expertise to help students achieve the best.

My lessons will include a lot of interaction with the students and making sure I understand which aspects of maths they find difficult. I will use a series of tests to help me establish this. The first lesson will include a test which will be for 1 hour and it will be free. Once I have established the topics that the student struggles with, I will focus on those areas. My lessons are usually 1 hour, but I do allow for a lot of flexibility and will strive to do the best for the student. My lessons are typically for younger children taking their 11 plus, however I also teach for those who want a head start at a young age in years 7,8 and 9. I would be willing to teach students of any ability, whether they are already struggling or are comfortable with maths but just want a stronger base. Thanks
