About DONNY
I am a certified math teacher of 6 years at a high school in Kansas. Prior to teaching I worked for various programs as a tutor under the TRIO umbrella- a federal college prep program for underprivileged high school students stationed at Wichita State University. I enjoy helping students lead themselves to that "a ha" moment and developing skills to become life long self-sufficient learners.

I am most comfortable with high school and middle students struggling with foundations, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, and intermediate algebra. I enjoy helping students discover solutions that make sense to them (there are multiple ways to skin a cat in math!). My classroom lessons usually include collaboration and discourse. Math is a language and we must be able to communicate.
