About Nia
I am currently a law student at the University of Nottingham. I have aspirations of qualifying for the bar so that I can practice and specialise in my desired legal field as a barrister. I have also studied English literature at undergraduate level for a year at Queen Mary's University, a factor which ignited my keen desire to teach English at an academic level.
I enjoy the professional versatility and challenge that the study of English provides and can assure that all of my students will receive an insightful and motivating level of tuition that nurtures their understanding and passion for the subject, whilst simultaneously producing confident writers and analysts, as this subject demands.

My lessons will initially focus on acquiring an understanding of my student's academic strengths and weaknesses and therefore providing them with a blue print of how to succeed in exams.
My students will receive an education in language and writing skills in order to produce persuasive and judicious arguments, as well as learning the context to go along with their aligned texts in order to provide historical significance to boost the quality of their arguments.
I will also provide wider reading and literary criticism for my students and a detailed understanding on how examiners award marks.
The typical length of my lessons are 1 hour, however this can be made flexible upon negotiation.
My lessons are available for students at every academic level, from primary school through to GCSE and A-level standard.
