Hi, I'm Derick Jia Ren, a native English speaker offering friendly and practical English lessons for students of all ages and levels, from young beginners to adults working on fluency. My approach focuses on real conversation practice, building vocabulary naturally, and correcting grammar in context rather than through rote memorization — so lessons feel more like practice than a lecture.
Each lesson typically runs 60 minutes, adjusted based on the student's age and attention span. I tailor my teaching style to each learner, whether that means focusing on everyday conversation, exam preparation, or building confidence in reading and writing. Lessons are suitable for complete beginners as well as those looking to polish their fluency.
