About Melissa
I’m not just teaching content—I am changing lives. I’ve been in the classroom for almost a decade. That’s not a fluke. That’s sustained passion, skill, and resilience. Ive taught the littles in first grade, supported students with unique needs in ESE, lifted up struggling learners, and now I am guiding advanced and gifted minds. I know how to break down a math concept in a way that *clicks*—because I have done it with kids across all skill levels. I have watched the light bulbs go off. I’ve seen students go from “I can’t” to “I got this,” and that didn’t happen by accident. It happened because of me. **Being a tutor isn’t just about knowing the material.** It’s about **connection**. It’s about seeing the *potential* in a kid who doubts themselves and helping them realize just how smart, capable, and strong they really are. I’ve done this in classrooms.
