About Danny
Hi! I'm Danny. I've studied and enjoyed math my whole life, leading to a Bachelor's from Trinity College Dublin. I enjoy bringing the understanding of math to students of all ages - it's a language we can all understand, if we give ourselves time to learn gently and carefully.
I completed my degree in 2021 and moved into software, but I still love the purity of mathematical theory. I enjoy bringing this love to anyone who wants it.

I start by going through the curriculum for the Leaving Certificate (or equivalent certificate). We find the gaps in education, we make a plan to target each of them individually, and then we knock them off one by one.
Each lesson should last about an hour to avoid burnout. We cover sample problems and explain methods of solving them, then assign light homework to keep the information alive between lessons. This is the methodology I've used before when giving maths grinds, and I've seen good results with it for all ages, up to and including those students about to sit the Leaving Cert.
