About Guy
Drums have taken me far and wide and led me to meeting some of the most interesting people I'm lucky enough to call friends. A touring musician with Electric Octopus, my background is in improvisation and holding true to vibe.

To have fun. I tailor lessons to suit each students individual needs. However, I also have a beginners syllabus built up from years of experience, which you will receive when you start. We'll play with music, we'll develop the ear.

Guy’s been a close friend for over 8 years. He’s a hugely passionate and talented musician with a lifetime of experience. His enthusiasm and energy are contagious. This, coupled with his patient and sensitive nature, means he has so much to offer as teacher. Anyone who looks to spend any of their time Guy will not only benefit musically, but so much more as well.
I have had 5 lessons so far with Guy... amazing teacher! He has set out a succinct, fun series of lesson plans to give a gradual experience of developing rhythms. You gain confidence and understanding a structured way. So much so that I feel I can play around with some improvised grooves already! Only 2 months in! Great teacher. Highly recommend.
Guy is an excellent drummer with many years experience of both performing and teaching, and plenty of patience and skill to teach various styles of drumming to students of all levels of ability
