About Faye
I am a committed Spanish tutor with 9+ years of teaching experience, helping High School and College students develop confidence and fluency in the language. My teaching philosophy is based on the belief that every student learns differently, so I create personalised lessons that fit each learner's pace, strengths, and goals. I believe that when students feel understood and supported, they become more motivated and achieve better results.
My lessons include grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading, writing, and conversational Spanish. I use simple explanations, interactive activities, practical exercises, and real-life examples to make learning enjoyable and effective. Every lesson encourages students to actively participate, helping them improve naturally through consistent practice. I focus on building strong communication skills while also helping students understand grammar and sentence structure.
One of my unique strengths is my ability to make challenging topics easy to understand. I break lessons into smaller steps, provide personalised practice materials, and regularly review progress to make sure students continue improving. I believe positive encouragement and patience are essential for successful learning, so I always create a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes.
I also include cultural learning in my lessons by introducing traditions, customs, and everyday life from Spanish-speaking countries. This helps students understand the language in a practical and meaningful way.

I follow a Spanish teaching methodology based on motivation, communication, creativity, and effective time management. I keep students motivated by creating a positive environment, understanding their goals, and celebrating progress to boost confidence.
Communication is central to my approach; I focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through practical exercises, interactive activities, and real-life examples. Creativity is incorporated using storytelling, role-plays, games, and visual aids to make lessons engaging and memorable.
Time management ensures lessons are balanced, covering grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational practice efficiently. I also teach students how to manage their study and practice time outside class for consistent improvement.
Along with Spanish, I can teach related subjects such as grammar, pronunciation, and language learning strategies. My goal is to make Spanish learning effective, structured, and enjoyable.
