About Finlay
I am a Warwick University offer holder who took Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science at A Level and who has a passion for Maths, Physics and programming. I want to teach because I want people to see what I love in these fields and to get the feeling of satisfaction when their knowledge can come together to solve practical problems and allow them to understand the subject in more depth. Any subject can be enjoyable if taught correctly and if you struggle to understand or enjoy it, then individualized tutoring with a new approach may be all you need.

It is important to start reconsolidation of your subjects and reaffirming your understanding early so that exam season is less stressful and more manageable. I can help with that. My lessons are designed so that they are as interactive as possible and so that they challenge the pupil with their current knowledge and allow the pupil to derive concepts themselves, making concepts much easier to conceptualize and explain. Lessons typically last an hour at a time and are targeted at GCSE and A Level students. Through teaching peers and students I've learnt what works and can adapt teaching style depending on what you expect from the lessons.
