About AMIR
Hi I'm Amir! I am currently studying aviation at Griffith University, with a strong academic background, and a passion for helping others learn. My goal is to excel as a commercial pilot no matter the environment I am in. I’ve been tutored myself and understand the importance of clear explanations and support, which is why I want to teach. My goal is to help students build confidence, grasp challenging concepts, and achieve their academic goals. I find it rewarding to see students succeed and develop an aptitude for learning.

My Approach to Tutoring
I create a supportive, engaging learning environment tailored to each student’s needs. My teaching methodology includes:
Preparation: Reviewing topics beforehand to align with school or state syllabi.
Interactive Learning: Encouraging active participation, problem-solving, and deep understanding of concepts.
Customised Sessions: Flexible lessons lasting 30 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes, based on student needs and attention spans.
My Qualifications and Experience
I’m a high school graduate studying aviation (6.4 GPA, ATAR 88), excelling in math, physics, and PE. I have experience tutoring students in Years 7–9 during Year 11 and Year 12. Being tutored throughout my school years has also equipped me with a strong understanding of effective tutoring techniques and adapting to different learning styles.
Who My Lessons Are For
I teach students aged 8–16, from Year 5 to Year 10. My focus is on helping students build foundational skills, master advanced topics, and grow in confidence and academic success.
