About Syam
I am a young and dedicated chess coach with over 3 years of playing experience, having started my chess journey at the age of 5. I received training from prestigious academies, including Basha Chess Academy and Mount Chess Academy, and honed my leadership skills by serving as the chess captain during both my school and college years. My passion for chess inspired me to teach and mentor numerous young players, helping them develop their skills and achieve their goals. With a FIDE rating of 1559, notable achievements include winning a gold and two silver medals in school zonals, securing third place in college zonals for two consecutive years, and earning placements in various childhood tournaments. I also bring online teaching experience from platforms such as TalentGum, where I worked as a chess facilitator. I am committed to fostering a love for chess in students of all ages and am open to remote chess tutoring opportunities. My goal is to inspire and guide the next generation of chess players while sharing the joy and discipline this incredible game offers.
