About MARLENE
My name is Marlene, I'm 22 years old, I study applied psychology, and if I were an animal, I'd probably be a giraffe. Sweden is my heart's country, and I simply love the language. Last year, I had the opportunity to work there as a nanny, and I can say it was a very happy time for me. The people are incredibly kind and helpful, and once you speak a little of the language, they're also very chatty :)
Swedes live a slower life in some ways, with fewer rules and good boundaries. Speaking Swedish has a certain ease. The beautiful songs and holidays like Sancta Lucia, Valborg (Wallpurgis Night), and Midsummer are also part of the language for me. You don't have to engage with the culture and the people to learn the language, but I find it lovely :)
If you find me likeable, I look forward to getting to know you :)

Hej, hur mår du? :) Would you like to learn some Swedish?
No problem, I'll teach you.
No prior knowledge required. My lessons are for
all those who are learning Swedish from scratch.
If you would like to or improve your Swedish you are in the right place.
Especially if you want to be an au pair or study or work abroad.
I teach in a fun, varied way with lots of joy :)
You will get closer to the country and its culture. Last year I
I lived in Stockholm. It was
beautiful and I was able to enjoy nature and culture. I found some Swedish friends :) Yes, that's possible as soon as you seen through the Swedish way of thinking haha
I was able to improve my Swedish a lot after I got how Swedes think :)
I'd love to teach you that too. So if you want to know what's behind the påskhäxa (Easter witch), where to find the best fika (Swedish coffee break), and why Swedes are happy when the gingerbread breaks into three pieces, feel free to text me :)
