About Ava
Hi, I'm Ava :)
I’m a patient, supportive 11+ tutor with a strong academic background, including a first class psychology degree, and experience as a SEN teaching assistant. I work especially well with children who benefit from clear explanations, gentle guidance, and a calm, structured learning environment.
I break down Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning, Maths, and English tasks into simple, manageable steps so students feel capable rather than overwhelmed. My sessions are steady, encouraging, and tailored to each child’s pace, helping them build confidence, accuracy, and the exam skills they need to succeed.

Each session is tailored to the child’s pace and personality. With experience as an SEN teaching assistant, I create a supportive environment for learners who benefit from extra patience, routine, or reassurance. I focus on building strong problem-solving habits, improving accuracy, and developing the exam strategies that help children stay calm and focused on the day.
