Hello! I’m Oussou Mama, you can call me Anya, a qualified maths tutor with a Foundation Degree in Mathematics and a Grade 9 in GCSE Higher Maths. With my strong academic background and passion for teaching, I am dedicated to helping students achieve their best in GCSE Maths. I understand that every learner is unique, so I tailor my lessons to suit individual needs and learning styles. I offer friendly, focused, and personalised GCSE Maths tutoring for students who want to build confidence, improve their grades, and develop strong problem-solving skills. My approach is simple: I break down difficult topics into easy-to-understand steps, use real past exam questions, and adapt each lesson to the student’s needs. I believe in building a strong foundation first, then practising regularly with exam-style questions to develop speed and accuracy. Each lesson is typically 60 minutes long and includes a quick review, new learning, and guided practice. I also give clear feedback and short tasks to help with revision between sessions. I hold a Foundation Degree in Maths and achieved Grade 9 in GCSE Higher Maths. I understand the exam structure well and can support both Foundation and Higher Tier GCSE students, including those preparing for resits. My lessons are ideal for GCSE students aged 13–18, including those who need extra support, want to boost their predicted grade, or aim for top marks.
