About Maya
I am a French tutor with more than 3 years of experience guiding teens to speak and understand French confidently. I hold a PhD in French Linguistics, allowing me to teach both the structure and the living culture of the language. I focus on lessons that are lively, relevant, and teen-friendly.
I integrate French youth culture into every session. Students explore pop songs, viral videos, and teen films to practice conversational expressions. I also teach modern slang, idioms, and informal phrases. Lessons are engaging, fun, and culturally relevant.
Classes are interactive and student-focused. We practice dialogues, analyze media, and connect grammar to authentic communication. My aim is to make French learning memorable, relatable, and confidence-building. I help teens feel comfortable and excited speaking the language.
