About Franchesca
Hello, I’m Franchesca and in my final year at Northumbria University student. As well as you, I am learning too, my degree is in Biomedicine. I have a great grasp on Maths too. I take pride in my strong work/study ethic, in going the extra miles to ensure the best possible grades I can get. I am looking forward to become a teacher one day, you will also be helping me become a great inspiring teacher. I am confident in teaching younger students and even mature students with subjects you may need help with. I have plenty of experiences studying, tackling difficults topics and finding a way to resolve and learn them methodically. I can demonstrate my success in my previous studies.
In more detail, I can provide insight in how to approach questions during exams and what to look for. I can mentor in how to revise and learn more effectively and efficiently in class and independently. I promote a study/life balance and ensure students will be thriving and enjoying engaging tutoring with plenty of resources and support. I myself have had ups and downs with revision. I am keen to see students progress academically and set strong foundations for the next level of academic challenges. I, myself am constantly learning every day too. I can teach subjects from primary level to GCSEs. I understand learning is a journey and an adventure and I am here to guide you, students through it.

Building confidence with expertise in science subjects from primary to secondary school through tailored presentations, practice questions and using scientifically backed up revision techniques such as Pomodoro, active recall and classic flashcards and more. I can provide years of positive experiences in class from primary school to university level based off UK curriculum. As well as self-taught strategies which have helped me gain entry into a Top 35 university. A lesson will begin with building a genuine rapport with the students and easing into introduction, outlining objectives, putting knowledge into practice and then consolidating learned skills. Pace of learning will be adjusted to student’s ability and ensure that they are challenged enough and practising new and old skills to secure top grades. I will follow specific updated curriculums and choosing of topics available. And I am trained in safeguarding of children and due to start as a cover in secondary schools. To reassure you, you can try a free trial and see if I am suitable for the student. Adjustable lesson plans and tailored learning to student’s specific needs and goals. 1-2-1 tutoring aimed at KS2-KS4 students. Possible joint tutoring.
