About Ellie
I'm a very easy-going, organised and warm person who loves to teach and learn! I just graduated with first class honours degree in Art History from the University of Edinburgh, starting a MA at the Courtauld Institute in the autumn term. My particular research interests are in contemporary art practice (feminist and LGBTQ+ methodologies, biopolitics, critical postmodernism), with a particular emphasis on photography, video and performance.

I'm a warm, friendly and encouraging tutor: I believe that self-confidence is absolutely vital to academic success. I'm organised and very passionate about my subjects, and I am very keen to pass this on! As well as some experience with tutoring A-Level English and Art History, I also work as a private nanny and babysitter with young children, helping them with their homework and 11+ preparations.
