About Daphne
Backed by more than 5 years of teaching and a degree in Physics with Materials Science, I specialize in bringing astrophysics and cosmology to life. Students often find stellar evolution, black holes, and relativity intimidating, but I simplify them without losing their wonder. I use thought experiments, real-world parallels, and clear explanations to make the complex feel approachable. My experience includes coaching astronomy clubs and mentoring learners aiming for careers in astrophysics. Each session is a blend of structured learning and open exploration. I believe physics is not just equations but a story of how the universe unfolds. Students are encouraged to think critically and creatively, building both confidence and problem-solving ability. I adapt lessons to meet different learning styles and goals. Many of my students come away with a lasting fascination for the cosmos. Teaching is not just about academics—it is about nurturing curiosity and resilience. I aim to inspire learners to see themselves as explorers of space and time. The universe is vast, and together we can journey through its mysteries with wonder and clarity.

My teaching style blends clarity, structure, and curiosity to make physics meaningful. I focus on astronomy, celestial mechanics, cosmology basics, and the physics of space exploration. Active listening allows me to tailor each lesson to the learner’s needs. I reinforce key ideas through repetition, ensuring accuracy in both knowledge and communication. Students are guided to use precise scientific language when discussing the universe. I emphasize understanding, not memorization, so learners feel confident applying concepts. Every lesson builds logically on the last, creating a strong sense of progress. I support students in becoming confident problem solvers. Inventive and technically minded learners find my approach especially engaging. We explore how theories connect to real applications in space and technology. Lessons are interactive, encouraging discussion and curiosity. I treat mistakes as natural and important for growth. Over time, students gain both analytical skill and excitement about physics. Together, we unlock the mysteries of the cosmos with patience and practice.
