About Heather
Spanish flows more naturally when you can hear the rhythm of a conversation in your mind. We emphasize listening practice and proper accent to capture the essence of different regional variants.
My background in translation studies allows me to explain the logic behind tricky idioms and expressions. Teens and hobbyists appreciate how I break down difficult grammar into manageable parts. We might spend time on business terminology or prepare for specific certification exams.

Vocabulary building and academic writing are at the core of my teaching because these skills provide the foundation for your success. I spent 6 years teaching languages in Perth, which allowed me to refine my methods across various subjects. My background includes a Monash BA in Languages, and I have worked with a large number of students to improve their conversational fluency and business English. Navigating the nuances of idioms and expressions requires patience, yet it is entirely achievable when we break the process down into manageable steps.
