About Anne
I am an enthusiastic piano tutor with more than 9+ years of experience teaching students from school, college, and professional backgrounds. I strongly believe that learning piano is a journey that combines technical skill, creativity, and personal expression.
My teaching approach emphasises patience, clear communication, and adapting lessons to each student’s needs and goals. I provide lessons that build strong fundamentals such as finger technique, hand coordination, rhythm, and sight-reading, gradually progressing to advanced techniques.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises to provide a well-rounded musical education. My lessons are creative, engaging, and practical, often including song-based exercises, improvisation, and performance preparation. I guide students to overcome challenges, build confidence, and maintain consistent practice routines.
My goal is to create a supportive, motivating, and inspiring environment where students feel encouraged to enjoy learning and grow as musicians.

My teaching methodology is goal-oriented and adaptive. I communicate with students to understand their musical ambitions, whether it’s mastering a piece, improving technique, or exploring composition. Creativity is infused into every lesson, encouraging students to experiment with music and develop their unique style.
Flexibility allows me to adjust the lesson structure based on the student’s progress and learning style.
Alongside piano, I also teach related subjects like music theory, sight-reading, rhythm, and ear training. This holistic approach ensures that students gain technical skill, musical understanding, and personal expression. Every lesson is designed to be motivating, practical, and inspiring.
