About Greg

My name is Greg, but many people call me Dr. Greg. I was born and educated in the US, although I currently live in Ecuador. I am an MIT engineering graduate, Harvard MBA and Doctorate in Law from Yale University. At age 28, I moved to Japan to start my first company and then lived in Asia for 32 years: mostly in Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and Singapore. I have owned my own companies, consulted for governments, US Presidents and many foreign Prime Ministers. I have a passion for business and technical English as applied to Tech, Government, Economics, International Business, Medical and Pharmaceutical, and many other industries I have worked in during my career. Although I am originally from the US, I have lived in 10 countries and visited 33 countries. In 2021, I came back from Thailand and spent time in Peru and Colombia, and currently live in Ecuador. The region I was born in America is famous for having the perfect accent for any native English speaker, which means no accent and my pronunciation is clear and easy to understand.

Whether you are interested in Business English, grammar, reading and understanding technical articles and news, or just want to improve your conversational skills and pronunciation, I will guide you to the secret of unlocking the power of English and furthering your language goals in life. which means no accent and my pronunciation is clear and easy to understand. I speak 5 languages: Japanese, Korean, Thai, some Mandarin Chinese and American English.

My teaching style varies from detailed discussion of newspaper business, technology and economic issues to laid-back informal free discussion or a topic of your choice. I will teach you how to break down complicated articles from newspapers or review grammar and sentence creation. I can easily switch back and forth between formal and informal styles.
