About Esma
Hi, I'm Esma. A practising lawyer and dedicated tutor with over 7 years of experience helping students master university and undergraduate-level Law and LLB courses. In that time, I've had the privilege of teaching more than 1,000 students, guiding many of them from confusion and self-doubt to genuine clarity and confidence in their legal studies.
I believe law shouldn't feel intimidating. It should feel like a subject you can reason through, question, and eventually master. That's the environment I try to create in every lesson: one where you're comfortable asking "why" as many times as you need to, without ever feeling judged for it.
Outside the classroom, I practise law professionally, which means the guidance I offer isn't purely theoretical, it's grounded in how the law is actually applied. Whether you're preparing for exams, working through a difficult topic, or simply looking to build a stronger foundation, I'm here to make that process feel manageable, and maybe even enjoyable.

With over 7 years of tutoring experience and more than 1,000 students taught, I bring a rare combination of academic depth and real courtroom insight to every lesson. As a practising lawyer, I don't just teach the law — I show students how it actually functions in practice, closing the gap between textbook theory and real legal reasoning.
My teaching method is built on the Socratic approach: rather than simply explaining concepts, I ask the questions that push students to think like lawyers. To analyse, argue, and defend a position, which is exactly the skillset university and LLB-level Law demands. Lessons are structured around case analysis, past papers, and real-world application, so students leave not just knowing the law, but understanding how to use it.
Each session typically runs 60–90 minutes, adjusted to the complexity of the topic and the pace of the student.
My lessons are designed for university and undergraduate Law and LLB students looking to sharpen their legal reasoning, exam technique, and overall confidence in the subject, whether they're catching up, aiming for top grades, or preparing for a career in law.
