About Amber
I'm a first year English student at Oxford University and manage my degree alongside work as a debating coach at a school part-time. I therefore have plenty of experience at coaching and tutoring school-aged children, having worked for the past 8 months with students from 13 to 18 years old, as well as being fully DBS checked.
My tutoring style will be flexible to whatever age your child is, and their specific ability and requirements. For those at exam age, I can adapt and focus tutoring to the specification of the exams that they are taking and my tutoring style is also supportive of their progress. I am able to tutor in the sense of giving guidance for essays and work already set, going through any questions or things that they don't understand, or talking through how they may approach their work and providing explanations and notes.
