Lessons are for high school students from years 7-12 and will 2 hours long. Each session be personalized in all aspects such as content, pacing and outcome to fit the student's needs in order to perform their best academically. Syllabus requirements will be taught and strategies for maximizing marks in assessments and/or the HSC will be passed on. Lessons focus more on practical problem solving and covering past papers to ensure students can outstandingly answer assessment questions.
Lesson Content:
- Outlining outcomes for lesson and setting goals to achieve and choosing what content to cover.
- A brief overview of the content to be covered.
- A lesson teaching the content and providing notes for later study.
- Step by step walkthrough of worked examples teaching the student efficient methods of solving past exam questions or similar questions to the syllabus.
- Example questions for the student to solve under supervision where help is provided when required to ensure student is capable of achieving full marks per question.
- Covering specific content for future exams utilizing similar past papers to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the topic.
- Reflection on the content covered and the goals achieved during the lesson
- Setting practice work for the next lesson to set in the skills acquired and provide structure for further study.
