About Khuram
I am a dedicated and supportive tutor with over 10 years of professional leadership and mentoring experience. I hold a BA (Hons) in Business & Marketing and currently work as a Floor Manager, where I coach teams, develop individuals, and help people reach their potential every day. My background has given me strong skills in communication, organisation, behaviour management, and motivation — all of which directly support students who need help improving their study habits and confidence. What I Offer I specialise in Study Skills, Homework Support, and Confidence Coaching for students in Key Stages 2–4. My sessions focus on helping learners become more organised, more motivated, and more independent in their approach to schoolwork. Typical areas I support include: • Planning and time management • Revision strategies that actually work • Focus and concentration techniques • Structuring homework and assignments • Building confidence and reducing anxiety • Improving behaviour, consistency, and routine • Preparing effectively for tests and exams I also offer basic support with GCSE Business Studies, using simple explanations and real-world examples to help students understand the fundamentals. My Approach My teaching style is calm, structured, and patient. I break tasks down into manageable steps and help students develop practical strategies they can use straight away. Every session is tailored to the student’s individual needs, personality, and learning style. Who I Work With I support students who: • Struggle to stay organised • Lack confidence or motivation • Find it difficult to focus • Need help understanding how to revise • Want clear, step-by-step guidance • Benefit from a calm, structured mentor figure What to Expect In our first session, I will: • Understand the student’s goals • Identify strengths and challenges • Create a simple, personalised study plan • Outline how we will work together My priority is to help students feel confident, capable, and in control of their learning.

How My Lessons Work Each session is structured, calm, and designed around the individual needs of the student. I begin by identifying their goals, strengths, and areas for improvement, then tailor the lesson to help them make clear, steady progress. Study Skills & Homework Support Lessons Include: • A quick review of current schoolwork and challenges • Clear, step-by-step explanations • Practical strategies for organisation, revision, and focus • Short tasks to build understanding and confidence • A simple takeaway plan so the student knows exactly what to do next I break everything down into manageable steps, ensuring the student never feels overwhelmed. My approach is supportive, patient, and focused on helping learners become more confident and independent over time. Structure of a Typical Lesson: 1. Check-in (5 minutes) – How the student is feeling and what they need help with 2. Main Focus (35 minutes) – Guided learning, revision techniques, homework support or skill-building 3. Review & Next Steps (5 minutes) – Recap, progress check, and clear goals for the week First Free Session: In the introductory lesson, I assess the student’s needs and learning style, then create a personalised study and support plan. No teaching pressure — just a calm, friendly start.
