About Amy
I accumulated a lot of tutoring experience working with Oxbridge Applications as a mock interviewer for biochemistry, medicine, biology, natural sciences, and chemistry. I provided constructive feedback for each interviewee outlining the areas in which they did well and those they could improve in. I found it very rewarding to provide guidance and encouragement to pupils preparing for their oxbrdige interviews as I know how nerve wraking the experience can be.
I also tutored with the charity Jacari during university. I tutored 3 students during my time there, of the ages 8, 10, and 11. I mostly worked on basic English skills with my pupils, including written work and conversational/casual language skills. This tutoring work enabled me to learn how to adapt my approach to pupils of different ages and characters.
