About Luce
I’m Luce, an Italian student at Cornell University pursuing a degree in Cognitive Science. Alongside my studies, I have several years of experience as a private online tutor, teaching English and supporting students in developing their language and academic skills. My background includes one-on-one tutoring through educational programs and volunteer platforms, where I’ve learned to adapt lessons to different learning styles, levels, and goals. As a native Italian studying abroad, I understand the challenges of learning and communicating in another language. This allows me to create a supportive and motivating environment for my students. Professionalism, reliability, and personalized attention are at the core of my teaching approach — I aim to help every student feel confident, capable, and inspired to learn.
