About Yashika
Hi! I’m Yashika.
I’m a dedicated English tutor who is passionate about assisting students in unlocking their full potential and building confidence in their English skills. My academic background consists of grade 9s in English Language and English Literature, plus an entirely British educated background. Beyond academics, I am an active writer on an official platform known as Substack. The hands-on experience allows me to share real-world language technique with my students.
Having also previously tutored students aged 10-17, I understand how to alter my approach in teaching different ages and learning styles. Whether a student requires assistance in grammar refinement or academic support, I am able to create a suitable and encouraging learning environment where they can achieve clear, improved results.
I look forward to assisting you attain your English learning goals! :)

Teaching style is deeply interactive and entirely student-focused. It focuses on refining skills and improving confidence. Each lesson will be tailored to student goals, whether that is conversational fluency, mastering grammar, or academic support.
A highly communicative approach will be used, and interaction will be consistent to ensure steady progress.
A standard lesson will be up to an hour, and lesson structure will depend on individual student needs.
I have tutored multiple students before ranging from ages 10-18 and have seen improvement and desired results. I attained 9s in English Language and English Literature IGCSEs. I also have a writing platform on Substack with over 250k subscribed readers.
Lessons are suitable for beginners to advanced (A1-C2) - ages 10-17 are preferable, but adults can be taught too in terms of conversational fluency, grammar, and writing. Students from ages 10-16 can be highly assisted in terms of academic support and exam prep.
