About Carmel-Deirdre
The way I teach is the way I learned to play guitar starting 10 years ago and I found it very effective! I am 18 years old and starting music in college this year. I have immersed myself in music for the last decade and have taught friends at beginner level before. Music is my passion and I hope to spread the joy of it to others!!

I approach music tutoring in a way that is easy and fun for the student. For a beginner guitarist/bassist/ukulele player I would spend the first lesson teaching the notes of the strings and how to play something basic. As their skills improve, I will teach them how to play their favourite songs, including chords and riffs, and teach some things about music theory along the way! My lessons would be approximately 40 minutes to an hour and are for anyone at a beginner level who's looking to try a guitar, bass, or ukulele. It's never too late to start!
