About Shadi

Hi! I’m a double major in Psychology and Biology for Health Science, and I’m super passionate about helping others succeed—especially in subjects like Math, English, and Science. When I was younger, I wasn’t really into school, mostly because I didn’t get the support I needed. That’s exactly why I care so much about being the kind of tutor I always wished I had. I’m patient, adaptable, and I love making learning feel exciting and encouraging. Outside of tutoring, I love playing soccer and writing stories—two things that keep me creative and energized. I'm all about making learning feel fun, supportive, and truly personalized for each student. You’ve got this—and I’m here to help you every step of the way!

About the lesson

I teach with care and adapt to your learning style to make sure you actually feel supported. I'm an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto, double majoring in Psychology and Biology for Health Science, and I offer lessons in Math, English, and Science. My approach is personal and flexible—each student gets a lesson plan tailored to their pace and needs. I'm especially passionate about teaching children because when I was in high school, I struggled to find a tutor who truly cared. That’s why I put extra effort into making learning feel encouraging, clear, and fun!

I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Shadi, and I can confidently say she’s one of the sharpest minds I know when it comes to both math and English. Her ability to break down complex concepts and explain them in a clear, approachable way is what truly sets her apart. Whether it's helping with tricky math problems or refining written work, Shadi always brings patience, precision, and a genuine passion for teaching. She’s not just knowledgeable—she knows how to teach, and that makes all the difference.
