About Jameel
Hey! I’m a recent Year 12 graduate and I’ll be starting Electrical Engineering at UNSW. I’ve always been really into Math, Physics and Chemistry, and I enjoy helping people get their head around stuff that might seem confusing at first.
I’m tutoring because I know how frustrating it can be when you’re stuck on a topic and just can’t seem to get it. I want to make learning a bit easier and less stressful by explaining things in a simple, down-to-earth way and working at your own pace.
I’m pretty easy going and I’ll make sure you actually understand what you’re doing, rather than just memorizing formulas and hoping for the best. My goal is to help you feel more confident and see real improvement in your results.

I focus on making lessons personal, clear, and genuinely useful for each student. Rather than simply giving answers or following a textbook, I first identify what the student is struggling with and then adapt the lesson around their specific needs.
I break difficult concepts into simple steps, explain why things work, and use plenty of practice questions to make sure the student can apply what they’ve learned independently. I also adjust my teaching style depending on the student whether they need concepts explained from the basics, help catching up, exam preparation, or more challenging questions.
My goal isn’t just to help students get better marks, but to help them actually understand the subject and become confident solving problems on their own.
