About Dina
Hi! My name is Maya, and I am currently a first year student at University of Leicester studying Biological Science. I went to Woodford County High School for both high school and sixth form, so I had to sit the 11+ exam. Having gone through the steps of sitting these exams, I have the experience and I think that this would help me to tailor the lessons to each student. I have tutored students in the past for 11+, so this experience will really benefit the students. During sixth form, I was also part of this mentor scheme where I was asked to tutor students for maths and chemistry for GCSE. For this reason, I want to carry on tutoring maths for all levels up till GCSE level. I want to tutor students from all ages up till 16. I really want to tutor because I was once a student in their shoes, so I understand the stress of it all. So being able to help students will be very gratifying and rewarding, to see the improvement and happiness in each student.

My lessons will be tailored to each individual student, so that the students are comfortable and are able to get the most out of every lesson. Each lesson will be 1 hour, and as long as the student is comfortable I will also set extra work out of the lesson that I will mark. In the lesson I will follow the specification of the subject and make sure the student understands every point before we move on. If the lesson is with a group, every student will input and interact in the lesson to ensure that everyone understands the topic being taught, whether it be answering a question, or asking a question. I have tutored students at my high school, for maths and chemistry for GCSE, and I have also tutored my brother and his friends for their 11+ exams. My lessons are for students who are going to sit the 11+ exam, and also maths lessons for all levels up till GCSE level.
