About Bethany
Hello! My name is Beth and I am a student at UCL currently studying towards my MSci in Biological Sciences. I have been teaching remotely for four years now and I believe in working with the student to establish what they feel they need in order to succeed. As well as the course knowledge I like to focus on building a student’s exam skills as this can hinder even the most motivated of students. I will prioritise your learning whilst making sure you are enjoying the sessions.

In the lesson the student and will go through the foundations of the course in sub-sections, after which I will assign a small task for them to complete before the next session. We will then begin the next session working through this task before moving onto the next section if the student is confident. Sessions are typically 1 hour and focus on the students individual needs. I will also work through exam technique and highlight key words or phrases needed to earn marks in the examinations.
I achieved A* in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Psychology at A-Level as well as grade 9 in all core subjects at GCSE.
I teach science subjects to all levels but only GCSE level for Maths and English.
