About Tanishka
I'm a student myself and I believe I always will be, which is the main reason I want to teach. I enjoy helping students understand concepts that may initially seem difficult or overwhelming. Having recently completed the IB Diploma myself, I understand the challenges students can face and how valuable it can be to have someone explain concepts in a clear and relatable way. I find it rewarding to help students build confidence in their abilities and see their progress over time. My experience volunteering in educational learning sessions has also strengthened my interest in working with students and supporting their learning.

I have a very practical and application approach to teaching, which is a skill I learnt from the IBDP diploma I've completed. I believe in slowly unpacking concepts and then improving them with practice. I'm someone who is willing to take questions at any point. I believe 1 hour of teaching is enough 2-3 times a week, given that the student practices the materials I'll give but am willing to extend based on student to student.
Previously, I have taught middle school students and high school students.
