About Aashi
I believe that every student can succeed in math with the right support and mindset. Students can count on me to meet them where they are and help them grow at their own pace. By building confidence, I aim to teach problem-solving skills that last beyond the classroom and empower students to tackle challenges independently. My focus on both understanding and confidence helps turn math into a subject that students can enjoy as much as I do!

As a math tutor, my #1 goal is to make math less intimidating and more approachable by breaking concepts into clear, structured steps. I focus on building strong foundations and connecting new material to what students already know.
I adapt my lessons to each student’s unique learning style—whether they learn best through step-by-step explanations, visual aids, or lots of practice problems. Instead of memorizing formulas, I emphasize explaining WHY something works.
A typical lesson will consist of the following:
-Quick review of previous material
-Introduction of a new concept with clear explanation and examples
-Guided practice where we work through problems together
-Independent practice to check understanding
-Wrap-up with key takeaways
As a student myself, I am exposed to many different teaching styles which I am able to mirror in my lessons. To keep students motivated, I highlight real-world applications of math to show why it matters. My lessons are structured but flexible, so we can focus extra time on areas where students feels stuck.
My tutoring is designed for middle and high school students who want to strengthen their math skills—whether they’re catching up, keeping up, or aiming to get ahead. I teach topics ranging from pre-algebra and algebra to geometry, trigonometry, and precalculus.
