About Akshay
My greatest passion in life is teaching. I was born and raised in bangalore, and experienced great success at school and at university due to amazing and unforgettable teachers. This is the foundation of my commitment to helping out my students, whatever their abilities may be. Currently, I am doing my Engineering . I have been tutoring and teaching for 2 years in various settings – tutoring small and large groups, private individual tutoring and home settings.

As a tutor I am caring, passionate, enthusiastic and excited about providing engaging and challenging learning experiences. My aim is to assist, encourage and support students to achieve their learning goals. In my classroom I believe that all students have the fundamental right to have access to a successful and fulfilling education in order to be productive and valuable members of society.
The use of extra material different from the guide book (updated and fun readings or videos)
Language learning Techniques and strategies to accelerate the learning process are explored and given to help learners and myself in the learning and teaching process.
Working with students in some face to face tutoring to help them catch up with the rest.
Games(especially for beginners).
Provide learners with online resources for self-study and practice.
Social networking groups where they can interact and learn lots of colloquial language.
Evaluation and assessment; learners self-evaluate after every 2 lessons in communication classes.

I took Quant courses. While I was studying for the GMAT, Akshay sir was always encouraging. He showed me how to approach the GMAT strategically and take a fresh approach to GMAT problems. Even after I finished all of our sessions, Akshay sir continued to check in with me to see how I was doing and to offer his assistance. He had absolutely no need to do this, but it just goes to show the kind of person he is and the kind of assistance you can expect from Akshay sir . In the end, I was able to earn a 780 on the GMAT, and I couldn't have done it without Akshay sir's personalized instruction and study materials. I would strongly advise working with him and the team.
