About Katherine
Hi! My name is Katie, and I have over 2 years of experience helping students with math. I’m currently a college student, so I understand how stressful school and difficult classes can feel sometimes. I love helping students grow more confident in math and making learning feel less overwhelming.
I try to create a patient and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My goal is not just to help students get the right answer, but to help them actually understand the material and feel more confident going into class, homework, and tests.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy staying active, spending time with friends and family, and being involved on campus.

I have over 2 years of experience helping students learn math in a way that actually makes sense. I know math can feel frustrating or overwhelming sometimes, so I try to make lessons relaxed, encouraging, and easy to follow.
I’m patient, flexible, and good at explaining concepts in different ways until they click. Whether you need help catching up, preparing for a test, or just building confidence in math, I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
I also understand what it’s like to be a student right now, which helps me connect with students and teach in a way that feels less intimidating and more supportive.
